   Retirement Eligibility
  Judges are eligible for monthly benefits if they have five or more years of service. Full retirement is payable at age 65, and reduced early retirement benefits are available at age 60 or later. Judges have mandatory retirement at age 70.  Judges with at least one year of service at mandatory retirement age can receive a benefit.
